We only process data that is necessary to provide the service and maintain security.

2. What data we collect and why

We collect the following categories of data:

• Email address: when you actively subscribe to launch and update notifications.
• Technical abuse-prevention data: IP address is processed briefly for rate limiting on the subscription form. IP addresses are not stored in our analytics data.
• Anonymous server-side analytics: page path, referrer, and approximate geography (country/city) are used for aggregated traffic and conversion analysis.
• Language preference: the `i18n_redirected` cookie is used to remember your selected language.

3. Legal basis for processing

• Consent (GDPR Article 6.1 a): email subscription.
• Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6.1 f): security, abuse prevention, and anonymous service analytics.
• Legal obligation (GDPR Article 6.1 c): handling data subject rights under data protection law.

4. Data retention periods

• Subscription data (email): until you unsubscribe, then up to 30 additional days.
• Temporary rate-limiting data: only for as long as abuse protection requires (normally around 60 seconds).
• Aggregated analytics and log data: up to 90 days under platform retention limits.
• Data related to rights requests is retained only as long as needed to complete the request.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• request access to personal data we process about you.
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• request deletion of personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• request data portability where processing is automated and based on consent or contract.

6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

REAdar.se uses Cloudflare for hosting and analytics. We aim to process data within the EU wherever possible.

If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

7. Cookie Policy

REAdar.se uses limited, functional cookie handling:

• `i18n_redirected` is a functional cookie used to remember your language choice (sv/en).
• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing cookies.
• Our analytics are server-side and cookieless. We do not use analytics cookies for traffic measurement.
• You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings. If removed, language preference resets.
